We finally made it to songni Mountain which means "Mountain away from the secular city." It was very peaceful and it was refreshing to be enjoying the outdoors again.
After a short hike we arrived at a Bhuddist monestary. Many of the buildings and statuaries on the ground were well over 600 years old. Apparently, the image of bhudda varies from country to country because each illustrates him according to the physical attributes that their culture considers ideal. Does that mean Bristish bhudda has messed up teeth??
One of the temples on the grounds.
Shortly after our arrival it began to snow and continued throughout our visit.
