rebuilding

You may have noticed that our "donate" button was taken down. T did this shortly before deploying, after filing our tax return.

We are thankful for the adoption credit laws in place that allow for some credit (reimbursement) towards our expenses in this lengthy and expensive process.

We are more thankful for God's faithful hand in this and on us.

Initially we took out a loan for this adoption. T and I were living debt free and trying to spend wisely knowing we had adoption expenses ahead.

Never did we imagine that our expenses would amount to about $100,000.00 (give or take).

As you know we liquidated all our our investments.

What you do not know is how much all of YOU donated.

We received over $17,000.00 from all of you.

Each of you played a part in our miracle.

My Sister E put it so well one day telling me that God doesn't NEED any one - He can do what He wants to do with or without us. BUT. WE end up being blessed when we are part of the miracle.

You are part of our miracle and will always be.

And we

are so very grateful and will always be.

You all helped pull these children out of the darkness.

You all participated in giving them "a hope and a future."

May you be rewarded - always - for this.

I went on our bank's website tonight and set money to "bill pay" towards the remaining balance on our credit card (mostly adoption expenses)......

It is paid in full.

T and I have a monthly vehicle payment ... other than that we are back to being debt free.

No more adoption expenses.

Now it's time to rebuild. Reinvest. Start a new nest egg. Build up savings.

It is nothing short of a miracle that we are where we are today. It's God's faithfulness. It's your faithfulness.

God tells us to tithe 10% (and we do) and He tells us this is one area that we can test Him, to see if He will bless us.

T and I are living proof of the blessings that come when you put God in front of your finances.

Thank you - from each of us.

There are no words, but AMEN!
Your children are as blessed to have you and T as you are to have them.
