twenty four weeks

This is our last weekend of Summer Break.

And.

Yes.

I agree with you.

Summer did - actually - fly by. (Thank you Lord for answering this particular prayer with a "yes.")

We've been staying busy with going to the beach (so thankful that it's right here on base, very close to us).

Going to the movies (so thankful to Hollywood - probably for the first time ever - for putting out a bunch of great kid movies).

Going to the playgrounds (so thankful that this particular base is full of many, many, fun, playgrounds that are in great condition, vary slightly from one to another, and are safe for our children).

Going on walks and bike rides (so thankful for all the nicely maintained walking/biking paths throughout the base).

We are thankful that the Lord is keeping T safe.

We are thankful for E - who has helped me carry this load - helping me with the children - going above and beyond. She is part of our family.

We are also thankful that we are so close to the base we consider "home" which is only 2 1/2 hours away.

Very thankful.

Pushing through - one day at a time.

Below is our paper link chain at 24 weeks. (One link a day, per child, making a paper chain for Daddy, for when he returns).
